Exfoliation for every skin type
Exfoliating is an important part of maintaining healthy, well-balanced skin. Skin is made up of a lot of cells, with new ones being created at the bottom layer all the time, pushing the dead ones up to the surface. When dead cells start to pile up, it can leave skin looking dull and dry and potentially clog pores. That's where an exfoliant comes in, sloughing off the dead skin layer to uncover fresh, glowing skin below. And the other bonus is even skin tone and improved skin texture.
We make both sugar and salt scrubs, designed for different skin types and exfoliating needs, using natural ingredients like mineral salts, sugar, plant flours, clays, nourishing oils and butters. Our Body Scrubs are also a treat for your nose! They are scented using three of our unique scent blends. And the Espresso? It smells like a Caramel Macchiato! |
Body Scrub FAQ's
What's the Difference between a Salt Scrub and a Sugar Scrub?
Salt crystals have sharper edges, making it more abrasive and perfect for smoothing out rough skin. We use Epsom Salts in our salt scrubs, rich in magnesium sulphate which is both therapeutic and relaxing. The magnesium helps take down inflammation while sulphates flush out toxins. Salt scrubbing invigorates the skin, improves circulation, removes bacteria and unclogs pores.
Sugar crystals have rounder edges which means it is not as abrasive on the skin as salt. This option is perfect for the face and for sensitive skin. Sugar buffs the skin without causing irritation or dryness, dissolving easily in hot water, and leaving your skin feeling smooth and clean.
Is it Vegan?
Yes, it is! It's made from all things vegetable.
